Material Handler

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our expanding team at our Redding, CA location.

Summary:

The Material Handler has a critical role that provides raw components and inventory support to ensure smooth, accurate flow of materials and inventory (movement) through the Manufacturing facility. This high energy and self-motivative individual should have warehouse and inventory experience and the ability to work well independently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the production team has all materials, supplies, tools, and resources required for manufacturing.
• Timely and accurate stock replenishment to maintain a steady flow.
• Moving materials through an operation and preventing non-routine tasks from interrupting workflow.
• Inventory support to include (but not limited to) daily cycle counts
• Ensuring efficient utilization of storage space
• Maintains records of inventories and locations
• Partner with Inventory Control coordinator to ensure smooth, accurate flow of materials
• Receive and decipher material shortages from shop floor operators and adjust inventory sheets
• Assisting with various tasks such as transporting finished goods, removing waste, updating status boards, and replacing tools.
• Any other tasks assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• General Education Required
• Experience using a WMS system & RF device
• Experience warehousing, parts running, and staging materials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with a variety of departments
• Experience with all warehouse equipment including stand-up and sit-down forklifts a plus
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
