Sherrill, Inc. Acquires Sterling Rope Company, Inc.

Sherrill, Inc., a Greensboro, NC arborist and climbing gear company, owner of treestuff.com and SherrillTree.com, is pleased to announce it has acquired the Maine life safety rope manufacturer, Sterling Rope Company, Inc. The acquisition will further vertically integrate the Sherrill manufacturing and distribution model within the work and recreational climbing industries, while providing customers with the best and most innovative life safety products available. There are no plans to change the day-to-day operation of Sterling and the company will stay in Biddeford, Maine.
